AI Mentions Should Mean More

AI search is the new front page. But if you don’t know how ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini talk about your brand – or if they mention you at all – you’re already invisible.

Solution

Own Your AI Presence

Instead of letting AI define your brand, Bear AI puts you in charge. See how often you’re mentioned, where the info comes from, and how you compare. Then use those insights to sharpen strategy and build lasting visibility.

Branding

Establishing Visual Consistency

I helped define the foundation of BearAI’s brand identity to ensure a professional yet approachable look. This included refining the logo, selecting typography, and exploring color palettes that aligned with the company’s AI-driven vision.

BearAI's initial branding before I joined the team lacked cohesion and a clear design direction.

Branding

Typography & Color Direction

I chose SF Pro as the primary typeface, with DM Sans as the secondary typeface, balancing sophistication and accessibility. I wanted the fonts to feel convincing and user-friendly, reflecting BearAI's dual identity as both cutting-edge and practical.

For the color palette, I explored various updated schemes that helped establish the foundation for what would become the refreshed brand system.

Branding

Pitch & Sales Deck

I translated BearAI’s evolving brand system into a compelling investor and client-facing pitch deck. The design emphasized clarity, storytelling, and consistent visual hierarchy, ensuring the product vision came across with impact.

Below are a couple examples of slides I designed during this process — some details are blurred for confidentiality.

A Refresher….

Initial branding vs. my redesign

Branding

Building the First Website

I designed Bear’s first website, which gave the brand a credible digital identity and helped communicate the product’s value clearly to both clients and investors.

I also designed a dedicated landing page to maintain consistency with the website’s branding.

Branding

Evolving the Color System

Around this time, I temporarily stepped away from Bear to take on another design commitment. During this period, the team began exploring a refreshed visual direction. Before transitioning out, I proposed several alternative color schemes to guide the redesign, helping set the stage for the brand identity Bear continues to build on today.

Final Thoughts

I joined Bear AI toward the end of my junior year with little understanding of how the startup world operated. This experience quickly became invaluable as I pushed myself to design pitch decks for the first time — materials that would ultimately shape how investors and clients viewed the product. Knowing that my designs played a role in launching Bear’s journey has been incredibly rewarding.

I’m also grateful to now be working with the team again. From the start, I’ve loved the vision behind Bear, and it’s exciting to be part of building the future of AI search alongside Sid and Janak on the founding team.
